Create a promotional piece to market both the PSU Publishing Program and Ooligan Press, the student staffed publishing house that is connected to the program.
I created this two-sided bookmark as a concept piece for a branding project I participated in while staffed at Ooligan Press. The goal for the branding project was to connect the Publishing Program and Ooligan Press in people’s minds, as well as to show a differentiation between the two through the use of imagery and consistency of language. My belief was that a bookmark would be a fitting piece of collateral to support this effort because it could be easily slipped into books sold by Ooligan Press, or handed out at events attended by the student staff or faculty. For this project, I illustrated the brain and hand icons, and wrote and edited copy to conform to the purpose of this marketing tool.
